Securrency Appoints MonaLisa Raass Como as Chief Commercial Officer Amid Global Expansion

MonaLisa Raass Como joins Securrency at a critical juncture in the company’s growth, following a hugely successful Series B funding round which raised $30 million from notable investors such as WisdomTree Investments, State Street, Abu Dhabi Catalyst Partners, and U.S. Bank, among others.
A seasoned executive with extensive transformational experience in finance, technology, and the management of regulated financial services companies, Como is a welcome addition to the Securrency team. In her own words, Como states she is “never hired because a company wants to maintain the status quo.”
Como holds a degree from Harvard University, has achieved certifications from Harvard Business School, the Wharton School and holds FINRA licenses 7, 24, 63, 99.
Prior to joining Securrency, Como was a key player at companies such as E*TRADE, TD Ameritrade, and Capital One Investing. In March 2020, she co-founded InterPares Partners, a boutique management consulting firm that she continues to work with. Como sits on the board of Bring Change 2 Mind, Women’s Business Collaborative, and Agora Brands Group.
An active member of industry associations, Como was involved in the DTCC’s Shortened Settlement Cycle Committee, Dematerialization Committee, and SIFMA’s Clearing Committee, and Operations Society to name a few. These deep industry connections financial operations and technology will be key to advancing Securrency’s mission to optimize financial logistics and build on the strong foundations of its digital asset ecosystem moving forward.
